Hosting and logs
This site is static. It is hosted on AWS Amplify Hosting in the AWS region eu-central-1 (Frankfurt). The provider is Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg. The parent company is Amazon Web Services, Inc. Delivery can pass through the AWS content-delivery network, including locations outside the EU. AWS offers standard contractual clauses in its data processing addendum. Confirm that this addendum is in place on the AWS account before publication.
When a page is requested, the host can process technical logs: IP address, date and time, the address requested, user agent and referrer. The purpose is to deliver the site and keep it secure. The legal basis is legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The logs are not used for advertising. How long AWS keeps them depends on the Amplify and CloudFront logging settings of the account. There is no separate analytics product.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies, does not use local storage, and does not embed analytics, advertising or social pixels. There is no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to on our side.
Fonts
The typefaces are stored on this server. The site does not contact Google Fonts or any other font CDN.
Videos and the Spotify player
Preview images for the videos are stored on this website. They are not loaded from Google. The YouTube player is served from youtube-nocookie.com and starts only after you press play. That request includes this site's origin, because YouTube will not start the video without it. The full page address is not sent. The Spotify player is served from open.spotify.com and also starts only after you press play; nothing is requested from Spotify before that.
From the moment you press play, Google or Spotify receives your IP address and the usual device data under their own privacy policies, and they may set cookies. Whether the players also require consent is a point for the legal review. Technically, the players do not load until the click.
Merch and Stripe
The Buy buttons leave this website and open a Stripe Payment Link. No name, address or payment data is entered or stored on this website. Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., and affiliates) collects the order on the payment page. Orders are visible to us in the Stripe account, not on this web server. The legal basis for handling a purchase is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Whether a data-processing agreement with Stripe is in place should be confirmed in the legal review.
If you write to us, we use what you send in order to reply. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR. Messages stay in the mailbox. They are not written into a database on this website.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, where the conditions are met. You can lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority, in particular in the EU member state of your residence, your place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.
There is no legal duty to provide personal data just to visit the site. There is no automated decision-making, including profiling.
